Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MedicPass ("we", "us") collects when you use MedicPass at medictest.info, why, and who else processes it on our behalf. We are the controller of that data.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Your email address, at checkout — we use it to deliver access, verify that the address works, send purchase confirmations and answer support requests.
• What you tell support when you write to us, including the contents of your message.
• Study inputs, such as the exam you select and your exam date, used to build your study plan.

Information collected automatically

• Purchase data — plan, amount, currency, date, subscription status and the result of the payment. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
• Device and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, funnel steps completed, and the marketing campaign a visit came from.
• Cookies — a session cookie and a CSRF token needed for the site to work, an auth_token and products cookie that link your visit to your account and pricing, a landing_segment cookie that remembers which landing page you arrived on, and cookies set by the analytics and advertising tools listed below.

Why we use it

• To provide the service you paid for, and to give you access to it.
• To take payment, manage renewals, and handle refunds and disputes.
• To answer support requests and reach you about your subscription.
• To measure how the site and our advertising perform, and to improve both.
• To detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Who processes data for us

• Stripe — payment processing, subscription billing and fraud checks.
• InAppLab — the account and app platform behind your login and content access.
• Resend — delivery of transactional email (verification, purchase confirmation) and its delivery status.
• PostHog — product analytics. Google Analytics / Tag Manager — website analytics. Meta Pixel — measurement of our advertising.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run the servers this site is served from.

These providers act on our instructions and may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We do not sell your personal data.

Your account itself is hosted on our app platform at portal.medictest.info; the platform's own privacy notice covers what it stores for the account and app, in addition to this policy.

How long we keep it

Account and purchase records are kept for as long as you have a subscription and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and dispute-handling purposes — typically several years, as required by law. Analytics data is kept in aggregated or pseudonymous form. Support correspondence is kept while it may still be relevant to your account.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, or ask for it in portable form. Write to [email protected] from the address on your account and we will handle it. You can also refuse or delete cookies in your browser, and opt out of interest-based advertising through the settings of the platform that showed you the ad — parts of the site may not work without the cookies that are strictly necessary.

Children

MedicPass is a professional certification study tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit, access to production data is limited to the people who operate the service, and payment card data is handled entirely by our payment provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat customer data as something we would rather not hold than mishandle.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above shows when it last changed, and the current version always lives at this address.
